To perform this piece, a toaster is amplified through contact microphones, shotgun mics, and any other means of amplification deemed necessary for the space. The performer then selects one or more piece(s) of bread to place inside the toaster for a duration of their choosing. The amplifications may be altered to create complex musical textures or left alone entirely. The piece is finished when the toaster is finished. Enjoy the snack!
